| PLAST-CONTROL's experience in building and designing measurement sensors for the on-line gauge measurement of films has given rise to several new technologies. Developed especially for sticky and surface sensitive films, the new patented sensor RCH was recently launched. The sensor is a wheel that rolls on the film surface and measures the thickness via several measurement points around the circumference. The new radial adjustment system boasts a huge adjustment range but with a compact design for ease of installation. Rigid construction with on board maintenance service as well as a force-control feed back of choice for many main stream user. |  |
The new developed optical sensor measures the overall film thickness without touching the film. Working in combination with the standard c-head sensores, the new device is mounted on the same radial arm adjustment. Suitable for sensitive materials the unit will also have the possibility of selective layer measurement.
